A little piece of me.
I want to leave something behind. Not just photographs, not just memories tucked away in someone’s mind, but something I have made with my own hands. Something that carries a little piece of me within it—something that can outlive my voice, my footsteps, and eventually, my name.

I want to create things that remind us of the good old days. Of a childhood that felt endless while we were living it, and impossibly small once it was gone. Of simpler days, when happiness could be found in the smallest things. The things we played with, the places we loved, the traditions we carried without realizing they were becoming memories.
I want to make things that bring those days back for a moment. Things that make someone stop and smile because they suddenly remember who they used to be. Things that remind us of the people we loved, the laughter we shared, the homes we grew up in, and the versions of ourselves we had to leave behind as we grew older.
Because childhood disappears so quietly. One day, we are living inside it, never imagining it will end. And then suddenly, we are adults, searching for pieces of it in old photographs, familiar songs, forgotten objects, and stories we tell over and over again. I want to create something that becomes one of those pieces.
Something made by my hands that might someday sit in another person’s hands.
Something that says, I was here. Not in a way that demands to be remembered, but in a way that quietly remains. I want a part of myself to exist outside of myself—to be carried forward by people I may never meet, in homes I may never see, long after I am gone.
Maybe someday, someone will find something I created and feel something they cannot quite explain. Maybe it will remind them of their childhood, of someone they miss, or of a time when life felt a little softer.
And maybe that is what it means to leave a legacy. Not to leave behind something grand, but something meaningful.
A little piece of love. A little piece of beauty. A little piece of memory. A little piece of me.
Let me create with my hands and my heart.
Let me make things that become part of people’s stories. Let me preserve the feeling of days that can never return. Let me turn memories into something tangible, so that the past does not disappear completely when those of us who lived it are gone.
And when my own days eventually become memories, I hope something I made remains. Something someone can hold. Something someone can look at. Something that makes them remember. Something that whispers,
